IMIA Critical Care Informatics working group announces its first formal workshop titled: "Generating a research and education agenda for Critical Care Informatics; scheduled for 11:30 to 13:00 Tuesday August 30 at the MIE 2011 conference in Oslo, Norway. http://www.mie2011.org/
The aim of the workshop is to
1) present and discuss a clinical information management framework to identify the most important research and education areas and practical projects that will impact proper data collection, information generation and knowledge dissemination in critical care;
2) present and discuss the current state of two research areas in critical care, quality registries and semantic interoperability. The results of the discussions will be used to generate an agenda for this working group activity.
The working group is aiming to have maximum exposure and attract as many interested participants as possible.
