Before Registering:

Please be prepared to include the following information:

  • a short speaker biography (2-3 sentences for introduction purposes).
  • 5 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Please indicate the correct answer for each question! For example - at the end of the answer you can put (correct) in brackets. We require 5 MCQs at minimum that will be asked at the end of your presentation. Please note, each session must end in an 11 minute Q&A session. Speakers for the Ventilator Workshop are not required to provide MCQs.
  • a fully completed conflict-of-interest disclosure form.
  • a fully completed CFPC disclosure slide. The CFPC disclosure slide must be used when preparing your presentation. Declarations, or lack thereof must be stated verbally.

About the Association

The Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS) is the National Specialty Society, representing Adult and Paediatric Critical Care Medicine physicians in Canada. The practice of Critical Care Medicine in Canada is multidisciplinary and CCCS members hold base specialty certification in anaesthesia, medicine, paediatrics, emergency medicine or surgery and some surgical subspecialties such as cardiac surgery and neurosurgery.
